What is a "wet vent"?
Not quite. The answer is D: A vent that also serves as a drain
The UPC defines a wet vent simply as a vent that also serves as a drain: it carries waste from one fixture while venting the fixtures connected downstream of it, a dual-purpose design the code regulates closely (for example, a horizontal wet vent serving a bathroom group is sized from the fixture units discharging into it, at 2 inches or more). It is not a description of a humid location or a failed component.
