At what minimum height above a roof surface must a vent pipe generally terminate, on a roof not used for anything but weather protection?
Not quite. The answer is B: 6 inches
A vent must extend through its flashing and end at least 6 inches above the roof, and at least 1 foot from any vertical surface. That is the figure for a roof used only for weather protection; where the roof is used for assembly or parking, the vent has to extend 7 feet above it instead.
